When can you start running with a baby?
You can start running with your baby when they're around 6 months old. They should have more control over their head movements by that point, it is dangerous to go jogging with a baby younger than six months. Most jogger prams don't offer a full recline, and babies don't have the strength required to hold their head up until around 6 months of age.
Can you run with a baby?
You can run with a baby that is older than 6 months old, and only when using a specially designed running buggy or jogger pram. This can be a great way for both baby and parent to spend time together outdoors, especially for active families.
Can you jog while holding a baby?
You should never or jog whilst holding a baby, not only is this very dangerous if you were to trip over, but babies are not adjusted to the motions of running or jogging. This motion can cause serious damage to your baby's spine, neck, and head. If you'd like to jog with your baby, you can instead use a running pram once they reach 6 months of age.
