How do I take my baby on a day trip?
To take a baby on a day trip for the first time, we would recommend a visit to somewhere within your local area, so if things do take a turn, then home isn't too far away. If you live near a seaside, have a local park, forest, or even a local farm, these all provide a great way to build your confidence taking your baby out and about, while also ensuring you both get plenty of fresh air. However, before you head out the door, you will need to make sure that you're prepared with the correct baby travel essentials to see you and your little one through the day. To make this easier, the majority of travel accessories you will need are featured in our travel collection at Direct4Baby. These include travel bags, shades, parasols, cup holders, footmuffs and more.
What are the must-haves for travelling with babies?
Must-haves for travelling with babies often depend on the age of your little one, but as a general rule of thumb, the travel essentials that we would recommend taking with you on journeys long or short include a travel bag, sun shade or parasol, cup holder, cooler bag, footmuffs and more. If you're going on a longer journey that requires an overnight stay, we would also advise taking a travel cot.
