What is the difference between a pram, pushchair, buggy, and stroller?

A pram, which allows your little one to lay in a lie-flat only position, is designed for newborns and young babies as their muscles won't have developed enough at this stage for them to sit up independently. While, buggies, strollers and pushchairs all tend to have similar features and are more suitable for toddlers, as these allow your little one to sit up on their own. You should only use a pushchair for a young baby or newborn if these have the appropriate features that will enable them to lay down at all times.
