When to start weaning baby?
When your baby reaches around 6 months of age, this is when it's recommended they start the weaning process. Once they reach this point, you can begin to wean them using one of two methods, or a combination of the two. The methods of weaning your little one include spoon-feeding, where they are introduced to pureed and mashed foods, or baby-led weaning, where they instead will go straight to consuming small pieces of solid food. If you're looking to get the weaning process started, browse the collection of baby weaning and feeding products above which include BPA-free options and find a suitable choice to meet your infants' feeding time requirements.

What is baby-led weaning?
As outlined on the NHS website, baby-led weaning is a popular method of weaning that means, once your infant has reached around 6 months, rather than consuming pureed or mashed foods, parents’ let them feed themselves by offering them finger foods. Depending on the parents' preference, some decide to make the weaning process completely baby-led, whereas others tend to combine this practice with spoon-feeding. However, no matter which method you choose, the NHS recommends ensuring that your child consumes a variety of food groups and gets all the nutrients that they need.
