Lancashire based nursery retailer, Direct4baby, have been shortlisted in the BIBA Awards in not one but two categories it was announced today. They are finalists in the ‘Micro Business Year of the Year’ and ‘Growth Business of the Year’. This is testament to the hard work and vision of not only the management team but the entire small yet mighty workforce!
Run by the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, the BIBAs is different to many Business Awards because businesses that win a BIBA get much more than just a trophy to put up in their office. The meticulous approach of the judging process, the BIBAs Winners’ Academy and the national profile of the event means those entrepreneurs that take part in the BIBAs take their minds and business to another level.
The BIBAs purpose is to drive growth, cultivate excellence and fuel innovation throughout the Lancashire economy, while nurturing the next generation of business leaders.
Direct4baby have flown through the application and interview rounds but now face a ‘Judges on Tour’ visit so that the judges can get under the skin of the company to find out what makes them tick. They will visit the premises and meet the entire team during the visit.
