The Mesa i-Size car seat from Uppababy is a rear-facing seat that may be used from birth with the Mesa ISOFIX Base (sold separately). In the event of a head-on collision, rear-facing seats have been found to be 5 times safer than forward-facing seats, and the Mesa is equipped with memory and EPP foam, which provides great energy absorption and side-impact protection to keep your child safe in the event of a side-on crash.

The Mesa i-Size car seat's headrest is made of energy-absorbing foam to reduce fuss and ensure your baby is entirely comfortable. It can also be easily adjusted along with your child's 3-point harness as they grow owing to the no-re-thread feature. Small ventilation holes, breathable mesh, and foam in the shell offer enough of airflow to reach your infant on lengthy flights and hot days, preventing overheating and sweating.

The extra-large, extended sun canopy gives plenty of shade and protection from strong winds or light rain, and it can be retracted for easy access to your baby when needed.
