I’ve had quite a few buggies and pushchairs – the umbrella fold ones that you have to forcibly shake to open, the ones that rust after just a few months. One that my husband managed to back over in the car... (Don’t worry, the baby was safely strapped in his car seat)
But the big test of my shiny new Babyzen YOYO+ Stroller came when we got the opportunity to attend SXSW Festival in Texas. That’s Liverpool to Texas with a six month and four-year old.
Here’s how the Babyzen YOYO+ really delivered.
Oh so smooth. And the stroller just whips through busy airports and festival filled streets like a ninja. Just the slightest flick of the wrist and the Babyzen turns, beautifully.
The Compact Fold
I never get bored of collapsing this Babyzen YOYO+ pram. Like a James Bond gadget, instantly folding into itself at the touch of a button. I remember watching in horror once as an airport attendant practically stomped on my pushchair as he tried to collapse it. Well, not with this baby. Zero fuss and cabin sized so you can actually take it on the plane with you and not have to walk 3 miles with baby in arms to find it on a carousel half way around the airport.
Mummy and Daddy even managed a few bands in the sun whilst Luca slept sweetly in his near lie flat stroller. Bliss.
Nice big basket, which pretty much carried everything – coats, food and every piece of rubbish kid’s pick up at a festival, the lot.
The BRILLIANT Accessories
The Babyzen YOYO+ Ride-on Board (Buggboard to me and you). Which was a lifesaver when transporting our shattered 4 yr old . It simply just clips on and is unbelieveable steady whilst still be super easy to push.
This pram just feels well made. Everything about it – the look. The feel. It’s still with us today and it has withstood a lot.
It looks really good. It just does. I mean, look at it...
